I started this big ol’ piece a while back and then stopped working on it until recently because I have a nightmare brain. And, speaking of nightmares, I’m just now realizing that this thing is a compositional nightmare because I didn’t plan it in the slightest. I’m just kind of tossing characters at it and seeing what sticks.
I intend to get all the Incarnations in here, so I might have to get creative. Or bigger. It’s good practice with proportions and poses, though.
Here’s some more plant monsters. I drew a scallion (a green onion) wielding knives because PF Changs frequently has scallions in the ingredients and people frequently don’t want them. There’s also some sort of flower monster and a couple of beetle-like creatures. Alongside all this is just the antithesis of Bigfoot and a rudimentary animation for my owl monster for my game.
I don’t know what the hell that first one is. It’s some sort of… old man ghost that died in some sort of tragic ax-related accident? That turns into a metal-faced, tentacle-beard monster when angry? I dunno, I’m a complete nutter.
Also, more mask creatures. One is made out of vines and walnuts, so that’s some sort of boss for my game that I haven’t had the bother to work on lately. And also a lumpy flesh mask-beast thing.
Some more sketches. Another creepy mask creature, a cube with a face and limbs, a sketch of Bravo sketching, and Alolan Raichu.

I’d been playing the first two Paper Mario games and I was really enjoying them. I kind of wish they’d go back to the original gameplay style. Anyways, I also like the design of Shy Guys, so it’d be neat to have a pirate Shy Guy or something as a party member in just such a hypothetical game.
