Overwatch – June to September
I’ve been a little ill and not super feeling the heftier videos no one watches, so here’s just some highlights and Plays of the Game that I’ve been compiling for a while.

———- Roadkill.
Highlight (0:36) – Horizon Lunar Colony (Attack) – Sombra
———- Nothing at all special, I just like how this played out.
Play of the Game (1:01) – Horizon Lunar Colony (Defense) – Junkrat
———- What was the reasoning behind buffing Junkrat? There was no reason to buff Junkrat.
Highlight (1:26) – King’s Row (Defense) – Reinhardt
———- *Maniacal cackling* (If I’d veered a bit more to the left, I might have survived this)
Play of the Game (1:52) – Lijiang Tower – Reaper
———- I kind of like how he absorbs health through damage dealt now. It makes surviving this sort of stunt a lot easier.
Highlight (2:16) – Numbani (Attack) – Torbjörn
———- I take a more “hands on” approach of Torbing, in that I have a tendency to ignore what’s happening with the turret and harass people into it with the shotgun.
Highlight (2:42) – King’s Row (Attack) – Orisa
———- I pull Reinhardt back into my line of fire and away from his target so that I can kill him and then watch as the enemy Torb uses his Ultimate after OUR Torb’s turret destroys his. He was HOPPING mad, hurr hurr.
Play of the Game (3:06) – Ilios – Reaper
———- I get a surprising number of PotGs with Reaper even though I only play him during Mystery Heroes.
Highlight (3:31) – Lúcio Ball – Lúcio
———- Lúcio Ball stresses me out by an unreasonable amount compared to the regular game. It’s a lot better than it was last year, though. Scoring a goal by bouncing it off of the wall was a complete accident. I think I got one of the achievements for this, too…
Highlight (3:57) – Lúcio Ball – Lúcio
———- I had saved up an Ultimate just to pop at the start of a round for a surprise goal. Jazzy.
Highlight (4:21) – Dorado (Defense) – Bastion
———- Another character I only play in Mystery Heroes, I Tank™ a bunch of people and then die when I transform back on top of Junkrat’s corpse.
Highlight (4:46) – Horizon Lunar Colony () – Junkrat
———- Speaking of Junkrat, I participated! Yaaay.
———- This highlight, and the three before it, were all recorded with the new Recording system Blizzard implemented into Overwatch. I should use that more often, but I don’t.
Play of the Game (5:11) – Numbani (Defense) – Hanzo
———- Yet another character I only play in Mystery Heroes, I do reasonably well for myself? I honestly really don’t know what I’m shooting at half the time with nipple-boy here.
Highlight (5:36) – Dorado (Defense) – Sombra
———- I rode Orisa like the horse she is. I like to think that I’m helpful as Sombra, but I’m probably not.
Play of the Game (6:02) – Horizon Lunar Colony – Torbjörn
———- I’m kind of always in a race against my turret when I’m a-Torbling, because I don’t want to be That Guy™, but the way the turret works is shenanigans and it always beats me to the punch.
Play of the Game (6:27) – Oasis – Roadhog
———- Another character I only play in Mystery Heroes, I was the sort who was completely unaffected by the nerfs because, even with Original Flavor ‘hog, I could Hook a Mercy, Shoot+Melee her, and still watch as she flew away to safety. Anyways, Whole Hog + an enclosed room makes for a quick Triple Kill.
Highlight (6:52) – Junkertown (Defense) – Mercy
———- It’s weird; I have yet to play Junkertown on Offense. Anyways, this IS the Play of the Game, but I was not involved, simply Resurrecting my team with the new!Mercy while our Reaper got a Team Kill. Then we got another couple of Team Kills in short succession because the two members of the enemy team that weren’t there trickled in to die afterwards.
Play of the Game (7:17) – Junkertown (Defense) – D.Va
———- Roadkill. I ran over Genji, Mercy Resurrected him, then I killed him again with my Ultimate when I got kicked out of the MEKA. Then I died because I didn’t take the cover of the Self-Destruct to escape with my life.
Overwatch: Anniversary
Here’s some highlights and Plays of the Game from around the Anniversary event. I’m still trying to work up the bother to finish some new thumbnails for the next videos. I dunno, whatever.

——— Honestly, I just like the sound Reinhardt’s hammer makes when it hits things.
Highlight (0:35) – King’s Row (Mystery Heroes) – Torbjörn
——— I liked how I sniped Pharah down in this one.
Play of the Game (1:00) – Lijiang Tower (Mystery Heroes) – Reaper
——— I barely survive Orisa with 2 health. Wow.
Highlight (1:25) – Watchpoint: Gibraltar (Mystery Heroes) – Torbjörn
——— Behold! The most pathetic Play of the Game yet!
Play of the Game (1:48) – Volskaya Industries (Mystery Heroes) – Winston
——— I participate in tickling people as a gorilla and get PotG as a result. I don’t know how people play Winston.
Play of the Game (2:14) – Temple of Anubis – Zenyatta
——— … I guess the game found this pretty impressive. I dunno, our Bastion dies and I help kill a couple of people.
Highlight (2:37) – Watchpoint: Gibraltar (Mystery Heroes) – D.Va
——— Here’s a triple kill with the Ult. to help push the payload.
Highlight (3:02) – Temple of Anubis – Mercy
——— I gun down the enemy Soldier and Rez two people to help take the point.
Play of the Game (3:26) – Hollywood – Junkrat
——— I use the Riptire to effectively take revenge over losing the point and allowing the enemy team to start pushing the payload.
Highlight (3:50) – King’s Row – D.Va
——— Another triple kill with the Ult to help push the payload to the end.
Highlight (4:15) – Watchpoint: Gibraltar – Sombra
——— I like to think that hacking Mei won us the game because it stopped her from using her Ice Block to stall for time. I’m really trying to get good with her.
Play of the Game (4:40) – Temple of Anubis – Junkrat
——— … I don’t know. The Play of the Game algorithm is weird sometimes.
Highlight (5:05) – Route 66 (Mystery Heroes) – Reaper
——— I used Widowmaker’s Ult to my advantage here! And kill a couple of people.
Highlight (5:29) – Route 66 – Mercy
——— This was actually our Reaper’s Play of the Game, even though he only got one final blow.
Play of the Game (5:54) – Temple of Anubis (Mystery Heroes) – Symmetra
——— Attack!Symmetra kills three people, gets frozen by Mei, INEXPLICABLY SURVIVES A HEADSHOT, and then kills her. I don’t know what happened here.
Play of the Game (6:18) – Volskaya Industries (Mystery Heroes) – D.Va
——— I assist Sombra in killing Zarya and Mercy before killing the enemy Sombra. I dunno, man, it’s weird.
Play of the Game (6:42) – Watchpoint: Gibraltar (Mystery Heroes) – Reaper
——— I kill three people, Mercy Resurrects two, and then we lose because no one was on the payload.
Play of the Game (7:06) – Hanamura – Soldier: 76
——— I participate heavily in many kills to take the point.
Overwatch: Uprising
Here’s some stuff I’ve been sitting on for a few weeks. Just some lootboxes and gameplay highlights. I tried to record some actual matches, but my computer is still struggling to handle Overwatch a little bit.
I alter my recording settings between videos as well, so it gets a tad bit louder after the Reinhardt PotG and I forgot to turn it down.

———- I chuck a Fire Strike into a corridor and wipe out a bunch of Slicers.
Play of the Game (2:49) – Uprising – Junkrat
———- I throw out the Wheel and wipe out a large number of enemies, though I’m not sure why that is PotG-worthy.
Play of the Game (3:14) – Uprising – Bastion
———- Left-click to victory.
Overwatch – March 2017
Going on break this week while I get my schedule sorted out around my call center job. Also I’m going to move the post time ahead because I head to work at 5? Yeah.

——— I open a bunch of boxes and use the money from the multiple duplicates and piles of coin to buy a bunch of stuff for Orisa, because she’s super adorable.
Highlight (4:39) – Kings’ Row (Mystery Heroes) – Hanzo
——— In a shocking display of competence, I kill three people as a precision character.
Play of the Game (5:03) – Hanamura (Mystery Heroes) – Junkrat
——— I ruin the opponent’s last-ditch effort at capping the point by suddenly dropping on them from above.
Play of the Game () – Nepal (Mystery Heroes) – Winston
——— I’m surprised by how happy I am with this one, considering how terrible I am with Winston; I managed to drop the shield an instant before being frozen and Mei accidentally retreated PAST THE SHIELD while trying to headshot me. It was great.
Play of the Game (5:53) – Numbani (Mystery Heroes) – Bastion
——— I save someone, which wins me Play of the Game this round as the Worst™ Bastion.
Overwatch: Year of the Rooster – 2/6/2017 to 2/13/2017
You might have noticed that I went on break this week, non-existent viewers, to begin setting up videos for Dishonored 2 (though my computer is only barely able to play the game).
Anyways, Overwatch’s loot boxes make me unreasonably angry and stressed and I bought $20’s worth of them and just got absolute garbage anyways so I just need to make it impossible for me to buy loot boxes again possibly with parental controls with a password generated by banging on the keyboard.

——— If I had gone left instead of right, I might have gotten Lúcio with Dead Eye as well and avoided that absolute travesty of McCree gameplay.
Play of the Game (5:48) – Ilios (Mystery Heroes) – D.Va
——— NOBODY knew what happened with this. Absolute nothing of note happens besides Lúcio “nope”-ing off to the right to his death.
Play of the Game (6:13) – Dorado (Mystery Heroes) – Hanzo
——— Behold! as trash!Hanzo steals all the glory with the Ult.
Highlight (6:37) – King’s Row (Mystery Heroes) – Reaper
——— Watch as my jittery and fearful movements result in a team kill and also my death (I was Resurrected shortly after).
Play of the Game (7:01) – Eichenwald (Mystery Heroes) – Junkrat
——— Panic!hopping is the name of the game here. I’m not sure why this is Play of the Game, but whatever.
Highlight (7:26) – Hollywood (Mystery Heroes) – Tracer
——— I included this, not because it’s particularly good (goodness knows I’m trash with Tracer and especially her bombs), but because I didn’t die this entire match. There was just a permanent trash!Tracer harassing the enemy team and I was the trash.
Play of the Game (7:50) – Dorado (Mystery Heroes) – Pharah
——— You know it’s Mystery Heroes when it’s Pharah because I am the worst Pharah in the world. Watch as McCree goes off the cliff because of the concussion blast!
Highlight (8:15) – Dorado (Mystery Heroes) – Ana
——— In a completely unplanned bit of Ultimate synergy, I, the most distressing grandma, Nano Boost Zarya as she fires her Graviton Surge, helping her win Play of the Game for that match.
Overwatch: Halloween Edition! [10/13/2016]
‘ey, going on hiatus again next week to build up a backlog of Dark Souls II videos.
Anyways, here I play a few games for the Halloween update and get very upset about getting two duplicates in a Loot Box, particularly because one was a victory pose that I’d gotten in the previous box.
I’ve determined that trying to record Overwatch with both Audacity and OBS pushes my system JUST A LITTLE TOO FAR, but just OBS is peachy-keen. It just means I’ll need to do some voice/game balancing in OBS itself.

Overwatch with Crashing Video Card [9/27/2016]
So I go back to Overwatch after a month and play a few games that I try to record but wind up needing to restart OBS every half hour because my video card crashes. It’s better NOW, thankfully, but… there’s still some stuttering in this video.
Also, I’m going on non-Ōkami video break next week to build up a backlog of videos again and get used to the Audacity/OBS recording set-up.
