I don’t what it is, but I’ve just been debilitatingly exhausted as of late. I’ve got a bunch of sketches to clean up and compilations to finish sketching but I just want to sleep all the time instead.
To that end, I felt it was appropriate to finish my original character, Jasmine “Jazz” Harper, having a sleepy cup of coffee and that mug doesn’t look right, does it? Whatever.
I cleaned up my sketch of my OC, Jasmine “Jazz” Harper, cozying up to a cup of coffee, a substance far too bitter for me to enjoy in any manner.
My neck and shoulders and the back of my head and behind my ears somehow have been killing me lately. So I gave that to my OC, Jasmine “Jazz” Harper, as well. I hadn’t made a sketch of the designs on her clothes lately, so I included those with some other pose sketches.
I’m going to update my banners soon; I’ve been meaning to for long enough that Bravo got a design overhaul. So here’s some quick art of my OCs, Jazz and Bravo. Some of the proportions are weird; Bravo’s torso might be too long and her hands too small (I can fix that).
A sketch page with: a massive turtle with a spiraling city atop it, a couple concepts of an old computer puking blue screen, and my OC Bravo comforting my other OC Jazz after I gave her my depression and anxiety on top of everything else.
I am taking a class over Computer Security because I do not have a job and soon will also not have healthcare. I say “class”, but it’s really more of a “boot camp”: tons of stuff, all at once, almost nine hours a day, unspecified amounts of homework… Understandably, I’m incredibly tired and stressed.
I hadn’t drawn Jasmine Harper in a while. Jazz is one of my older characters, whom I gave a number of my more hyperactive, scatterbrained characteristics. These are also the characteristics that leave me exhausted, always, so I’ve updated her to also be really tired, bags under the eyes and all. It’s not my best work… but I’m tired.
I need to be better about loading these things faster. I also need to be better about drawing on scale. Lucy, Samaira, and Coby (on the right, including dog) had their guidelines drawn larger than Bravo and Jazz (on the left) and I didn’t fix that before doing lines and its just a bloody mess.
Anyways, these are a set of my characters. From the left: Dubravka (“Bravo”, lead of one of my games), Jasmine (“Jazz”), Lucy, Samaira, and Coby (Samaira’s service corgi). They’re good people, yes.
I need to whip up some character sheets or just one character sheet to show height differences.
