I drop in on the Mor Ardain/Uraya summit because Mòrag has gotten news that Bana is planning an attack. We: gather clues; determine that Tirkin are attempting to poison the food; everyone ignores the giant, rattling crate; Rex shouts the word “Poison” really weird; and Bana manages to kill Niall in a last, desperate shot.

Not through any merit of his own, mind you… but because Niall is dumb.

In this cutscene-heavy episode, Amalthus holds a summit between the leaders of Mor Ardain and Uraya to try and stave off open war. Afterwards, Nia and Mythra put the “fun” into Fan la Norne’s funeral.

I think this is about when I started really figuring out Chain Attacks… and still nearly lose to Jimmy because spike effects are the true enemy.

Afterwards, I head to Temperantia to stop Jin and get the last party member, Zeke, on the team. I give him Praxis and get him one of my favorite Blades, Adenine.

Completely dominated by cutscenes, this episode provides: me giggling like an idiot at Sheba and her flying bathtub, a discussion on the effects of war and the ease to direct your anger at closer targets, Rex seeing similarities between Amalthus and Malos via a strange television effect, edgelord Jin trying to incite war between Mor Ardain and Uraya by commandeering a Titan weapon, and numerous discussions about the past.
