Kitsune Naptime

I drew a two-tailed kitsune/fox napping in a bed of grass and flowers.

It’s a little rough, being done with pencil and pen. A bit of a given, really, considering the poor quality of my tools and my congenital hand tremors.

Seasonal Split

A sequence of four trees representing the seasons: a bare oak for Autumn; a snow-covered evergreen for Winter; a blossoming Sakura for Spring; and a lush oak for summer.

I’m not entirely pleased with how this one turned out. Maybe more shading could help it? It’s kind of aggressively busy, too. Perhaps simplifying the design is in order.

Here’s some more plant monsters. I drew a scallion (a green onion) wielding knives because PF Changs frequently has scallions in the ingredients and people frequently don’t want them. There’s also some sort of flower monster and a couple of beetle-like creatures. Alongside all this is just the antithesis of Bigfoot and a rudimentary animation for my owl monster for my game.

… Uh, yep, more sketches. A roll-y, bitey caterpillar(?), a punching weapon, and what is presumably a burning log along with a different caterpillar-esque creature, a flower-wasp, and an owl for my game.

And here’s some more sketches in a Paper Mario vein, but I didn’t remember what Paper Boos looked like so I decided to just make her as horrifically off-model as possible instead. Accompanying her is an old, obscure enemy from Secret of the Six Coins, the Battle Beetle. I like their design a lot.
