I begin the preparations to invade Luca Abele’s palace by chatting with Meagan, Sokolov, and the visiting Stilton. And then the black marketeer explodes when I talk to the delivery woman, so that was a time.
I witness Delilah’s return from death and the secret of her immortality. Then, the Outsider shows me his “birth”-place and I get to see the results of my meddling with time.
I strangle and then attempt to abduct Aramis Stilton but quickly realize that’s not what I’m actually supposed to do when I can’t move him between areas. Then I freak out because of the ramifications of meddling with time.
I continue clearing the mansion of obstacles and claiming all the collectibles I can manage by chucking an infested dog corpse into an incinerator. Then I peek in on a guard from across time while plotting against him.
I clear out many of the bloodfly nests and the nest keepers before jumping down an elevator shaft into the basement to perform some time-bending plumbing.
I continue exploring Aramis Stilton’s mansion, bypassing parts of it completely using my double jump, and forget for a time that Void powers aren’t supposed to work in this level, purchasing and attempting to use a new Void power before remembering that it wouldn’t work.
I go back to use the Heart on Aramis Stilton for a while and then use my Void-based ability to jump in midair in a building where Void powers don’t work to sequence-break into places I shouldn’t be able to get to in that way.
After dropping by the silvergraph studio using Durante’s key (and ignoring the chance to pointlessly incapacitate Paolo and Byrne), I head into Aramis Stilton’s mansion and gain the ability to TRAVEL THROUGH TIME… which was spoiled for me by the game itself.
I hate Jindosh’s stupid, bloody riddle locking the entrance to Stilton’s mansion because it doesN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. “Finch was at the far left”, mY -ING EYE SHE WAS ON THE FAR LEFT.
ANYways, I spend the first 14 minutes or so showing my logic towards the riddle in Photoshop, fail, then obtain the solution from Durante’s room and get very angry at the solution and stop playing the game for a few days.
I clear out the Overseer outpost of basically everyone because some dude just appears out of thin air behind me and gets everyone mad. Also, one guy’s view cone spins 360 degrees around his head at one point? That was weird.
