I started this big ol’ piece a while back and then stopped working on it until recently because I have a nightmare brain. And, speaking of nightmares, I’m just now realizing that this thing is a compositional nightmare because I didn’t plan it in the slightest. I’m just kind of tossing characters at it and seeing what sticks.
I intend to get all the Incarnations in here, so I might have to get creative. Or bigger. It’s good practice with proportions and poses, though.
I sketched some trees. I’m plotting a design based on the seasons and trees, but I’m not entirely sure where I’m going with it yet. Featured are evergreen, sakura, oak I guess, baobab, and a bare also-an-oak I guess?
I did a quick mock-up of an idea I have: a glass ball depicting space that breaks open and all that space “smokes” out. There’s a ways to go before I can finalize this, though.
I can sketch on the computer! But I have to fight the urge to perfect everything that I draw like this, especially this nonsense about how I wear a belt across my chest now because the pressure helps with my anxiety.
