Well, this is finally starting to come together. It’s a comic about my OC whom I am using in a Dungeons and Dragons / West Marches campaign. It’s about small objects orbiting your head and the cats that attack small objects orbiting your head.
Since I’ve been working on this for too long, mostly because I frequently stare blankly into eternity all day, I’m just going to slap together the outside real fast and then try to figure out what shadows are. Also, Krita isn’t able to save this as a Photoshop document anymore? That’s annoying.
I’m sketching a room! For purposes! It’s slow going because perspective and inexperience and lines. There’s going to be An Person and such in there as well, once I’ve got the room set up.
I started this big ol’ piece a while back and then stopped working on it until recently because I have a nightmare brain. And, speaking of nightmares, I’m just now realizing that this thing is a compositional nightmare because I didn’t plan it in the slightest. I’m just kind of tossing characters at it and seeing what sticks.
I intend to get all the Incarnations in here, so I might have to get creative. Or bigger. It’s good practice with proportions and poses, though.
I sketched some trees. I’m plotting a design based on the seasons and trees, but I’m not entirely sure where I’m going with it yet. Featured are evergreen, sakura, oak I guess, baobab, and a bare also-an-oak I guess?
I did a quick mock-up of an idea I have: a glass ball depicting space that breaks open and all that space “smokes” out. There’s a ways to go before I can finalize this, though.
I can sketch on the computer! But I have to fight the urge to perfect everything that I draw like this, especially this nonsense about how I wear a belt across my chest now because the pressure helps with my anxiety.
