Gigantamax Raichu/Gorochu
In Pokémon Sword and Shield, there’s a new feature called Dynamax/Gigantamax, wherein a Pokémon changes form and gets real big. So, I decided to design a Gigantamax form for my favorite Pokémon, Raichu.
It’s based partly off of Raichu’s scrapped evolution, Gorochu, and partly off the Japanese thunder god, Raijin. The tail is influenced by Pikachu’s Gigantamax form.
Java Jazz
I don’t what it is, but I’ve just been debilitatingly exhausted as of late. I’ve got a bunch of sketches to clean up and compilations to finish sketching but I just want to sleep all the time instead.
To that end, I felt it was appropriate to finish my original character, Jasmine “Jazz” Harper, having a sleepy cup of coffee and that mug doesn’t look right, does it? Whatever.
Oh! And, keeping with the theme, I have a “Ko-fi“. And it’s on Redbubble, too.
Voyager – Cosmic Claws
Here’s my space cat OC Voyager attacking with her Cosmic Claws! This art was done on traditional media. I have a lot of art to clean of my horrible shaky hands.
West Marches: Armored Bravo
I did a few iterations of my original character, Dubravka “Bravo” Galloway, as she appears in the West Marches/Dungeons and Dragons campaign that I’m taking part in. She originally started out as a lightly armored Warlock, but I’ve since multi-classed into Fighter and gotten her into half plate armor and a Cloak of the Manta Ray.
Space Ace-Bravo and Voyager
My main OC, Dubravka “Bravo” Galloway, is asexual! Like me, maybe? I don’t know, I don’t really have a sense of self.
Since it’s Pride Month, I thought that I might as well do some art for that. Here I have Bravo and another of my original characters, Voyager, interacting. Their color schemes were switched to the asexual pride flag.
West Marches: Concept Character
I sketched up a rough concept for another Dungeons and Dragons character for our West Marches campaign; due to our unfortunate tank-to-caster ratio, I created them to bolster our tanky numbers. They’re a Warforged Monk, based off of Atom from Real Steel.
Cera and Voyager
While I was trolling my labyrinthine mess of a computer for files to delete, I found some old pictures of my past cats. One was a picture of Cera from before age made her all skin and bones, when she looked like a little matryoshka doll. She was just filled with a generalized malice towards all things instead of more dolls.
So I made a new cat character: a matryoshka doll based on a real one that I have (complete with crack) that’s filled with a grumpy smoke cat.
Character Design – Bravo’s New Clothes
I hadn’t drawn Bravo in a while, so I decided to give her some new duds. I thought about giving her a hat, but a) hats are hard and b) she’s got a lot of hair.
Starfall Dungeon – Units P.10
I’ve drawn some SPOOP units for the Deep Woods in Starfall Dungeon. The two common units are a set of psychic mushrooms and apparently a turtle skeleton. The turtle skeleton definitely needs work to be viable as a unit; it’s too complicated and the limbs need to be changed.
In terms of Boss-class units, we’ve got:
Captain Battical!, a superhero-themed bat. A defender of Justice and Innocents, he uses his powers to shield other units from attacks while dealing out attacks of his own. He’s a real radical dude or whatever.
Pumpukeen is a haunted set of clothes and a Jack-o’-Lantern. Lost souls trapped in the Deep Woods ultimately join the collection of souls that compose Pumpukeen. They wander endlessly in the dark, providing a light to lead whoever they find to safer parts of the Forest region. As a unit, Pumpukeen has numerous sword strikes that target multiple enemies, pierce defenses, and inflict burning.
Starfall Dungeon – Units P.9
Marie Anette is a possessed marionette. A right classy puppet, dancing on strings that extend infinitely into the sky.
She’s not much of an attacker; her main attack involves floating over to a target and spinning her legs at them. Her primary role involves using her strings to delay enemies and puppeteer allied units to effectively use their skills on her turn. And maybe revive fallen units? Or would that be unbalanced?
She’d probably appear as a boss in the City region, continually summoning reinforcements that you’ll have to get through.
