Happy Mother’s Day! Have a bunch of penguins dressed for sport.
I was originally going to draw a lot more, but I drew the first one too large and, really, how many penguins do I want to bungle with pen and paper anyways?
So, I’ve been sitting on some sketches for a while for no particular reason. This one has a bunch of skeleton studies of sorts on it. There’s: a dog druid, I guess; a crow plague doctor/shadow monster; and a bull cyborg. I did some turn-arounds of the skulls, but I clearly don’t quite understand pelvises yet.
These are character concepts for the game I’m still totally working on (I opened it up and stared at it all day a couple of days ago and everything!). The problem: filling levels with Pokémon-able enemies without having to flesh out each and every one as full characters. The solution: some enemies, like the Calcium Crew, fold into an overarching character that uses them, like a necromancer.
Owls are always associated with wisdom and intelligence, when their massive and cylindrical eyes cause them to actually have rather small brains. Rather, their specialized feathers should give them an association with stealth and sneakiness, so here’s a ninja owl.
Avery is a bit too much like Breath of the Wild‘s Rito for my tastes, but I’m not super sure of how to go about revising his design.
Merr Cristo, er’ybody!
Here’s the cards I drew for Christmas. There’s Lucifer from the webcomic, Paranatural, which is absolutely amazing; there’s my character, Bravo, dressed like my trainer in Pokémon Ultra Moon; here’s an aggressive pine tree with a present; and a Raichu, the best Pokémon.
