I did a chibi panel redraw of Marvel’s Champions (2020) featuring Viv Vision and Riri Williams (Ironheart) presenting their messaging app, #ChampionsCharge. They’re my favorite Marvels.
Once upon a time, I was watching a video of a moose and her calves walking down a road and realized: Hey! That freaks me out a little bit! Too big. Too spindly. Too much leg. Whereupon this strange idea was produced and slowly, ponderously worked on.
Inspired by the bus scene from My Neighbor Totoro, here’s an anthropomorphized moose waiting at a bus stop. For this character design, I wanted to emulate the unnerving nature of a moose with this horrifying woodcutter. Instead of actually giving him antlers, I gave him a moose-themed umbrella as a further reference to Totoro.

And there’s a Ko-Fi that I have, if you so wish: https://ko-fi.com/sadayoshientertainment
It’s Xinyan! She’s probably my favorite character from Genshin Impact. It’d be nice if she had more content, though.
Here’s a Ko-fi, if you’d like: https://ko-fi.com/sadayoshientertainment
LGBT is technically an initialism, but I parse it as an acronym instead. So, “enjoy” the inevitable outcome of pronouncing LGBT as a word: cartoon bats with disconcertingly human legs.
I had originally planned to have this done in June, for Pride Month, but then I didn’t. So all y’all are getting it at the end of Disability Awareness Month.
I’ve also added it to my Redbubble, so if you want… this on your stuff, you can get it here: [Redbubble Link]
I drew my original character, Murakami Momoko the kitsune samurai, recently. It’s also the first time I’ve drawn that spear both all together and from an angle, so that’s neat.
I do drawings in traditional media for holidays and birthdays, because my grandparents struggle with connecting things that I do digitally with me. Then again, they always seem surprised of the traditional stuff, too, so it’d probably just be easier to switch fully so that my shaky hands are less of a constant detriment.
I drew a two-tailed kitsune/fox napping in a bed of grass and flowers.
It’s a little rough, being done with pencil and pen. A bit of a given, really, considering the poor quality of my tools and my congenital hand tremors.
I sketched Marvel’s Amka Aliyak (A.K.A., Snowguard) a while back and only just now got around to finishing her. I’d like to see more of her sometime.
Clearly, I don’t know how to draw wings and I have a “Ko-fi” or whatever.
I’m still working on this old piece from before Indivisible first released. There’s ten Incarnations to go and this is already WAY too busy. I’ll need to play about with it some more to make it less… overwhelming to look at. It probably doesn’t help that the sketches are multicolored.
Some more character design work on my new original character, Momoko the kitsune Samurai. This sketch page has got a bit of everything: an armored outfit for her that I’ll need to refine, some spear concepts that are coming along, a simplified look for easier animating, and some notes on her name.
From what I, a half-Japanese man with only 2nd- and 3rd-hand knowledge of Japanese and Japanese culture, have researched: when kanji is used as part of a name or other word, it can generally be pronounced however you want it to be pronounced? I might be way off.
Here’s some more art of Momoko, my kitsune Samurai, cutting a peach with a spear. I did this in traditional media with pen and colored pencil. I did forget her gotdang fox tails, but that’s something easy to fix when I clean this digitally.
